I could not believe it, and almost thought I was going crazy... Let me give you all a word of advice -- warning! -- next time you go shopping for pants! ...I was at JC Penney, found some pants, tried them on, decided they'd be OK, and bought them. A few days later when I put them on to wear to work, and went about putting a few things in the pockets I was SHOCKED and apalled to discover the pockets were only an inch or two deep!!!!! ...on traditional 5-pocket styled jeans! What a horridly atrocious money-saving idea THAT is!!!

So my warning is: don't assume the pants have regular old pockets in them!

I never stuck my hand into one in the store because I never dreamed there would be jeans that looked like they had pockets without actually having real, honest-to-goodness pockets.

I returned them to JC Penney ... and eventually discovered Duluth Trading sells pants with REAL, deeep pockets.
